Judi Coe

Judi Coe is a former journalist – committed to the cause of Plain English – who has spent more than 20 years working in commercial copywriting and Public Relations consultancy.
 
As the experienced editor of the website for the Cambridge Network – a high profile consortium of businesses in the East of England – she carries out daily editing of web pages, as well as generation of user guides, a weekly e-bulletin, news stories and other material.

During 2008 she completed the copy for a global technology company site, The Technology Partnership, and also worked with an agency client on the UK graduate careers site for leading law firm Clifford Chance, as well as conducting podcast interviews (Heineken and Kinetic Engineering) for another law firm, Allen and Overy.

Working with a specialist training company, Roem Ltd, she also developed and wrote a series of e-learning packages for a major blue-chip energy company. Other recent work (2006–8) included a series of online newsletters (Artists’ Insights) and website content for Arts Council England.

She has also been involved in developing and writing electronic magazines, and structuring and writing websites, including in the past, BP’s UK and other country careers centres and (in 2007), the English language sites for BP Solar, including those for the US  and  Australia. She also co-wrote the careers site for the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Graduate recruitment communications is a specialism and she has written award-winning brochures, presentations, websites, e-bulletins and marketing campaign materials for clients such as BP, Logica, Bank of Scotland, HM Treasury, Lovells, The Home Office Fast Stream, Woolworths Group, Standard Life, Taylor Wessing and Lloyds TSB.
